Install SPOTech Lab as an app
In plain words
Installing the site is like putting an icon-shaped bookmark on your home screen. The icon opens SPOTech Lab in its own window, without an address bar or tabs, and pages you have already visited stay readable on the train or in a server room with no network. Nothing to download from a store, no account, no permission requested.

Checking…
The Install button only appears in browsers that can install directly (Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet). Elsewhere, follow the steps below.
The app opens on the French home page; the FR / EN button at the top of each page switches to English. Offline download covers both languages.
On iPhone and iPad
- Open the site in Safari (since iOS 16.4, Chrome and Edge can do it too).
- Tap the Share button (the square with an upward arrow).
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
On Android
- Open the site in Chrome, Edge or Samsung Internet.
- Open the ⋮ menu, then Install app (or Add to Home screen).
- Confirm: the icon joins your apps.

The app then appears in the Start menu, Launchpad or app list, and can be pinned to the taskbar like any other program.
Reading offline
- Automatically: every page you open is kept on the device and stays readable without a connection.
- The whole site: the Download everything button above saves all pages and tools, a few megabytes in total (illustration photos are not included).
- Updates: when online, the latest version of each page is shown, and the offline copy is refreshed after the next site update.
Uninstall
Like any app: long-press the icon then Remove on a phone, or right-click the icon then Uninstall on a computer. To also erase the offline copy, delete the site's data in your browser settings.
Why not on the App Store or Google Play?
The app is a progressive web app (PWA): the same for every device, always up to date, with no middleman and no tracking. It collects no data and asks for no permission.
